Mission TripsComfort Rwanda & Congo usually takes four groups out to Rwanda each year. Each group will have different emphases but the primary aims are likely to be:
To show God’s love and compassion to orphans, widows and others in Rwanda through visiting and encouraging them
To view projects, develop relationship, increase understanding of needs, maintain accountability and foster love & friendship
To provide a focus for fundraising
To provide special missions for street kids or orphans
To help practically with projects such as house building
To minister through preaching and teaching.
Accommodation During most, if not all of the visit, we will be staying at the Good News Guest House in the capital Kigali. Rooms are either single, double or twin. The Guest House is used to help finance Good News International’s activities and is vey clean, comfortable and quiet with friendly, helpful staff. Meals are very tasty and cater for western tastes. Rooms are comfortable and en suite.
Each day starts with a hearty breakfast followed by a short time of devotions. There is a time of reflection at the end of the day which is a valuable time to share the many wonderful and perhaps difficult & challenging experiences of the day.
